Your Life – Your Time – Your Choice

The way in which you decided to spend your time over the past few years has brought you to where you are right now!

Decisions you took five, ten or even twenty years ago are still affecting what you are experiencing in your life today.  Unless you review where you are and strike out for where you want to get to, the chances are that how you choose to spend your time in the next five, ten or twenty years will be led by events, crises, other people and whatever wind blows hardest, NOT YOU.
None of us can expect a smooth path throughout life and very few people are ever able to claim that they achieve all they set out to achieve. When you consider the present you will feel that the decisions you had taken in the past were taken by an entirely different person.
A person with different priorities and outlook on life more able and motivated to spend time on things that were of the moment and immediate. 
At that time, you felt, you had plenty of time to make longer term decisions later, and to think about the future sometime.  There was and is nothing wrong with that provided at the time you were aware that the day of change will come.
Would you today trust decisions affecting your wealth, family, career, happiness and success as well as wellbeing to that relatively inexperienced person?  

                                            YOU, as you were then. 

 I'm not so sure many of us would. Naturally this will depend on how much fall-out of those decisions is still affecting you today.  If you are highly successful then the right decisions may have been made, if you are still striving to be successful a revision might be helpful, if you are struggling then the wrong choices were made.
My personal experiences show quite clearly, that the biggest factors in the wellbeing of people when they reach the age of 60+ are the decisions they took between the ages of 35-55, and how effectively they used their time, on what they consider the most important things at the time.  
The biggest issue for YOU may be the decisions you are now taking knowing you have to work for more years than previously planned as the retirement age is moving further into the future for most people. 
This an opportunity for re- evaluating your career path or re- thinking what time for retirement you will have, what you want to achieve, where you want your life to be?
We are all so bogged down daily responding to demands, opportunities and pressures, calls, momentary tasks, bleeps, noises and all that makes each day pass often too quickly that we rarely take time out to consider what is really going to be important to us in the medium and long term.    
For some of us it may be that we are on our own with too much time and too little of interest to usefully spend our time with the resulting stress and frustration.
Of equal importance, many of us fail to recognize the crucial role of using at least some time on the things that will make the medium and longer term a fulfilling and more satisfying experience.
The clock is running for all of us but not everyone has a ‘road map' to follow or effective self management skills to make a difference.     
                   We all know what that can feel like - lost in the one-way system.

What Does Your Man REALLY Want? by Cucan Pemo


If there is one question for which every woman wants an answer is what men want. This question crops up in the mind of every woman be it be a teenager going on her first date; a newly wedded wife getting ready for her husband to return from work; a single woman waiting to find the right man; a divorcee trying to rebuild her life.

This question has been asked by women in the past, and will be asked by women in the future too. It is a question that has no easy answers; with each relationship being completely different from another. The best one can do is to explore seven subjects that form the cornerstone of any relationship between men and women. These subjects hold the key for any woman to understand what men want.

1. Sex

  • What do men want in sex?
  • How frequent should be lovemaking?
  • Should it be passionate?
  • Should women have sex before marriage?

There is little doubt that most men are obsessed with sex. It is a biological need, and men should not be blamed for wanting sex. However, sex alone cannot build a long lasting relationship. It can bring a couple together but it cannot hold them together beyond a certain point.

What a woman must understand is that a man finds happiness and fulfillment in sex. A woman who is willing to reach out and unite in the act of lovemaking is most likely to win a man than a woman who uses sex as a manipulative tool.

Also, men are not ogres. They don’t go to women looking for sex alone. Most of them don’t want their partners to degrade themselves when making love to them. They would rather like all acts of lovemaking to be complete and fulfilling to both.

Men, in fact, agonize more than women if they are unable to excite their partners. This is because men can be easily aroused whereas it takes longer, and more foreplay in the case of women to get aroused.

There is little doubt that a man would like to take a woman to bed as quickly as possible. But few men want to make love if they find their partners are unwilling. Most of them don’t want to hurt or injure the feelings of a woman with whom they have developed a bonding or are in the process of doing so. Also, no man would insist on sex as a prerequisite to marriage.

Yes, every man has his fantasies about sex, and would like frequent and passionate sex with the woman he loves. One-night stands, as the name suggests, are only flings, not relationships.

2. Companionship

  • What kind of a companion does a man want?
  • How should women meet those needs?

Men want women with whom they can share their likes and dislikes, their fears and triumphs, their weaknesses and strengths… They want women who can empathize with their failures and revel in their triumphs.

Women who constantly find faults with their men are unlikely to win their love and respect. Every woman must remember that men are vain by nature. They need pampering, and even mothering. At the same time they need emotional fulfillment.

This does not mean that women have to become sports enthusiasts or political analysts to please their men. They only need to provide space to their men to follow their passions.

3. Homemakers

  • Should women be great cooks to win acceptance?
  • Should women alone be expected to keep house?
  • Is it a woman’s job to rear kids?

Today’s men respect the ambitions of women. They don’t want to relegate their wives to the role of a domestic help. They would like their women to do well in life. However, they would not like this to happen at the cost of their own careers.

Most women must realize that every man wants to be the main breadwinner. His male ego gets hurt if he has to depend on his wife to run the home. He would certainly expect his wife to cook for him on at least three to four days a week. He would also expect women to keep the home clean and well kept. The best that a man is willing to do is to extend a helping hand. But the woman has to be the main homemaker.

4. Emotional support

  • Should women give advice?
  • Are men open to points of view given by women?

Once again the male ego is too vain. It is not willing to listen easily to the advice given by better halves. Almost every man goes on the defensive when the woman he loves wants to correct him. He may accept the same advice from another male; but would be very reluctant to do so from a woman.

Women should therefore be careful. They should make men feel they can climb Mount Everest, if need be. They must encourage them by constantly telling them how much confidence they have in them. This will bring the best out of every man.

5. Looks matter

  • Should women doll up for men?
  • Is a woman’s figure important?
  • How important is it to dress up especially for men?

Men love beautiful women. They don’t want their woman to look dowdy. This is not only true at the time of dating but even after marriage. Women who allow their figures to slip are likely to loose the interest of their men. This may sound sexist but this is how life is. An attractive woman, who knows how to carry herself, will always turn male heads.


6. Private space

  • Why do men need time for themselves?
  • Are they hiding something?
  • Shouldn’t they share all their thoughts with me?

The best relationships are those where women are willing to wait; where they give time to their men to unwind themselves. They should not rush into their arms the moment they come home, and expect them to unburden themselves. Instead, they should wait for the right time when the man is more ready to share his inner thoughts. Even here, it is important to be patient, and encouraging. Don’t find faults with your man’s thinking; the chances are that he may shut himself off. Each man needs space to sort his thoughts. A woman can help him by being encouraging and understanding.

7. Respect

  • Do men need more respect than women?
  • How should a woman behave?

Finally, both men and women need respect if the relationship is to survive. This can only happen if a woman is willing to listen to her man. Also, a woman should respect a man’s interests even though they may be widely different from her. She should allow him necessary space to follow his interests which may be sports, politics or cards.

What do men want? Has this question ever been answered satisfactorily for the average woman? Only a small percentage of women seem to understand what a man wants in a woman.

This is the same if she is happy yet fails to tell him specifically what she's happy about. He will withdraw into other activities that he can be successful at. He believes he's not doing a good job of keeping his wife happy.
Happy is what a man wants his girlfriend or wife to be. Happy with the job he's doing as a husband or mate.
But what if the woman doesn't know what she wants to accomplish with her life?
This is a very challenging situation that needs attention. For many women, this is an area that has gotten pushed to the side in the rush of a busy life. Having clarity about your dreams and aspirations is essential so you can convey them to your husband. Without a clear idea of what brings you happiness, your boyfriend or husband is likely to stop trying to please you. It's like trying to hit a target that's always moving or running a race where the finish line is always changing. That's certainly a recipe for relationship ruin.
The dating process can also go more smoothly if this work has been done. You'll be better equipped to find a match because you've thought through what's important to you. If you're vague about yourself while dating, you're more likely to attract men who lack clear direction

When Did The Law of Attraction Start? by John Peace


The Law of Attraction started with the creation of the universe and the creation of thought.

The challenging question is, when did mankind first become aware of this law?

The answer to that is unknown, although there is some evidence to suggest that people knew about universal law at least 6000 or 7000 years ago.

Research on the history of the law of attraction provides us with many inspirational quotes, which gives us plenty of evidence that the laws were truly understood.

When studying the history of the Law of Attraction we see that Buddha said,

'All that we are is the result of what we have thought.'

A powerful statement, not only do we create the material things in our lives by what we think, we also create ourselves.

Further evidence in the history of the Law of Attraction can be found in the King James version of the Bible. We see that Job may not have fully understood the workings of attraction, however like many people today he suffered the consequences of the law by not using it for his good.

In Job 3: 25, it reads,

'For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.'

How many of us are creating what we do not desire in life? How many of us are setting ourselves up as victims because we do not understand or are not consciously using the law of attraction?

Without knowing when the phrase Attraction was first coined, it is difficult to document the first writings. Law of attraction awareness was certainly awakened in the last century or so, with many authors and scientists writing, perhaps controversially, at the turn of the last century.

Many of these books are now in the public domain and are available in eBook format from the Law-of-Attraction-Guide library.

James Allen is best known work As a Man Thinketh, which is one of the most powerful law of attraction books written.

The forward states,

'to stimulate men and women to the discovery and perception of the truth that - they themselves are makers of themselves by virtue of the thoughts which they choose and encourage; that mind is the master-weaver, both of the inner garment of character and the outer garment of circumstance, and that, as they may have hitherto woven in ignorance and pain they may now weave in enlightenment and happiness.'

As you can see the style of writing is rather dated and needs to be read carefully.

Wallace Wattles studied the various religious beliefs and philosophies of the world including those of Descartes, Spinoza, Leibnitz, Schopenhauer, Hegel, Swedenborg, Emerson, and others.

He translated those studies into several books including The Science of Getting Rich. In this book he builds upon the following statement,

'There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe. A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought. I can form things in my thought, and by impressing my thoughts upon formless substance, can cause the thing I think about to be created.'

In the past 30 years, this book has been used as the basis to teach many people about the law of attraction, and was the inspiration for the movie, The Secret.

Charles Haanel was a noted American author and businessman who belonged to the American Scientific League, The Author's League of America, The American Society of Psychical Research, the St. Louis Humane Society and the St. Louis Chamber of Commerce.

Haanel wrote several books that were published in St. Louis by Psychology Publishing and by his Master Key Institute in New York.

Mr. Haanel put into books the ideas and methods he used to gain his success. Besides the Master Key System, which he wrote in 1912, he also wrote Mental Chemistry and The New Psychology.

By 1933 The Master Key System had sold over 200,000 copies and then seemingly disappeared.

Studying the history of the law of attraction, The Master Key System has proved to be one of the finest studies in self-improvement and higher consciousness ever written. Covering everything from attracting abundance and prosperity, to greater health and happiness. This system teaches the principles and practise of the laws of cause and effect.

One of the most inspirational quotations written in the introduction of the book is,

'Abundance, therefore, depends upon recognition of the laws of Abundance, and the fact that Mind is not only the creator, but the only creator of all there is.'

Again the writing style requires careful reading, but is well worth it.

Napolean Hill is considered to have influenced more people into success than any other person in history. He has been perhaps the most influential man in the area of personal success development.

It is my belief, that at our very core, people want to have a peaceful and harmonious world. I also believe that as people become aware of the Law of Attraction, they will realize that they can influence the world by their belief and will be an agent for positive change for the future. It is important that more and more people become aware of and use the law of attraction daily to create tremendous lives for themselves and others.

How to Increase Sexual Desire

The Law of Attraction, Goal Setting and Magic by Dimitri Papalexiou


Ever since the movie & book 'The Secret', the Law of Attraction has gone from a little known tool used by just a few, to a term known by millions of people around the world. There are thousands of web-sites and dozens of Gurus all proclaiming there knowledge of this ancient law.
So, what do the law of attraction, goal setting and magick have to do with each other, what are the common denominators? Simple, the law of attraction states that what you focus on with desire, and hold in your mind as being true, will eventually come about. All of these terms are just systems of acquiring something, that you desire. It can be material, emotional or mental.
Why do some people use magic to achieve their goals? Why all the symbols and rituals? If you have any knowledge of goal setting or the law of attraction, you probably use one or more of the following methods;
  •  meditation
  •  visualization
  •  affirmations
  •  motivational music or surroundings
  •  pictures and vision boards
  •  writing out your goals
  •  good luck charm or lucky item
  •  asking for help from God or the Universe
It has been documented many times that using more of your senses (i.e. sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch etc) when goal setting & visualizing will increase your chances of obtaining your desires and anchor your goals strongly into your unconscious mind.
Seriously, a goal that is focused on regularly using positive emotion, most of your senses and firm belief in a positive outcome, will be much more likely to succeed than a few mumbled, half-hearted words.
Using magic  especially ritual magic to achieve your goals is a powerful tool. No belief in actual witchcraft is required. You can send your requests to any powers or source that you feel right about, gods, angels or just the infinite universe. Oddly enough, you can practice magic and be from almost any religion or even an atheist.
With ritual magic you can use costumes, props, symbols, music, incense, wine or food, images and of course, the spell or rite itself. The spell uses words or rhyme to set your goal. Using magic like this allows you to cover all the senses and really put yourself in a powerful place to ask for and accept your desires.
Back to the law of attraction and goal setting. If you're uncomfortable with anything at all to do with magic or spells it doesn't matter, you can still ad a little ritual to your goal setting and vastly increase the chances or receiving your desires and dreams. Just a few minor additions will turbo charge your attraction ability. Try some of the following;
  •  perform your visualization at the same time every day (this sets a routine for your mind)
  •  use affirmations written in present tense, speak & repeat them aloud if you can
  •  play positive music that lifts you up
  •  use a vision board or something else that has images cut-out and pasted of the things you desire
  •  write out your goals using positive emotions and make them believable
  •  carry a good luck charm of any kind that represents your current desire, focus on it during the day to remind yourself of your goal
  •  try to avoid negative thoughts and people
  •  re-affirm your goal everyday for as long as it takes to achieve it
Whether you use magic or traditional goal setting techniques, the more of yourself that you put into it, the quicker you will realize your dreams. Never rubbish anyone's method of using the law of attraction. Negativity of this kind will rob you of your own success and block your ability to attract. Use what works for you and drop what doesn't.
