About - For The Men

The intention of this blog is to bring to the forefront and encourage discussion on some of the things that affect us/men in our everyday lives. One of the key factors is the whole concept of men’s health. The types of issues that affect our health and our apparent reluctance to seek medical/health care. While the life-expectancy gap between men and women has decreased men still need to pay more attention to their bodies. Several things work against men to maintain this life expectancy gap. For example, men tend to smoke and drink more than women. They don't seek medical help as often as women. Some men define themselves by their work, which can add to stress.
There are also health conditions that only affect men, such as prostate cancer and low testosterone. Many of the major health risks that men face - like colon cancer or heart disease - can be prevented and treated with early diagnosis. Screening tests can find diseases early, when they are easier to treat. It's important to have regular checkups and screenings

When we discuss it in this blog , I want you to get interested and ask  questions and research a little further so you can find answers to those burning questions for which you seek answers but are afraid to ask. .  Sometimes a few minutes of shame could well be a life saver for us.
